We're Almost Ready

Yₒᵤ’ᵥₑ ₐₗₗ bₑₑₙ wₐᵢₜᵢₙg…

Hello, everyone! It’s September the 16th  of 2021, and I’m here to give you the scoop on where Fleshport is at in development.

An updated version of Fleshport’s Demo is now available here, on Itch.io! Much has been worked on for the past 6 months, as I’ve had a few more beta testers play through the full game. Some of the changes and fixes were applied to the demo level, so I decided it was time to give you guys a new version.

Most of the legal stuff has been dealt with! Whew, finally. This has paved the way for getting the game on Steam! Yup, we’re at this point, folks. Honestly, it’s pretty surreal. The demo and the full game have to be reviewed separately by Steam, as well as their respective store page. Currently, the Fleshport Demo store page has been reviewed and has passed. The store page for the full release is currently in queue for review. The demo itself has yet to be reviewed, and the full release still needs a little TLC before I can put it up for review. Let me tell you- uploading a game to Steam is a weird and somewhat confusing process. Itch.io is a lot more streamlined in the process. (Don't tell Steam I said that)

When the demo is available on Steam, I’ll post another update. We're on target for a mid-to-late October release if things continue to go this smoothly.

If you or anyone you know may like Fleshport, please throw them a link to this page. Thank you guys for being here! Take care now.

I downloaded the demo on steam and noticed the bugs and whatnot. Could you update the demo there too just so people don't feel confused about it?

Hello there! The demo on Steam should be the same build as the demo on here (9.16.2021) Could you please tell me the bugs you have experienced?

I actually replayed it and it was running smoothly! I haven't finished the demo yet but fun.

I can describe the bugs I was running into before though? The text would speed through and I basicly whenever I tried to move around in game there was dialogue that kept popping up me from actually playing. Usually always sped through so I couldn't read everything. Like the only thing I could do was open the menu and even then dialogue kept me from doing anything.

Well that's quite concerning. Would you happen to remember where you were and who was talking when this happened?
