In this horror-adventure game, you play as a child lost in a parallel dimension where cannibalism is a normal facet of every day life and outsiders are on the menu.

You must flee, hide, and misdirect various threats as you find your way to a portal that will deliver you back home.

History

Development on Fleshport officially started in March of 2016. It began as a small passion project as a means to bring myself out of a slump in my life, and it graduated into something far more ambitious than I intended. It's been a long road, and although I hope to keep my next adventure a lot shorter, I feel everything I've learned made it time well spent. I hope you enjoy my creation, I look forward to sharing my worlds with you.

So good! If you have $10 to spend on something put it towards this game. Amazing art and characters, great story and fantastic world building. You don’t know it yet, but you need this game.

YASSSS

This is an incredible demo, and I can't wait for the full game! What a perfectly crafted horror setting, and an impressive / creative work in RPG Maker as well. I will be following for future updates.

(+2)

I'm so happy to hear that! Thank you for following, and I hope you enjoy the full version of the game as well.

this was SUCH a thrilling experience--had me hooked for every second of the game! you're incredibly talented at what you do, especially world building--atmosphere was amazing, loved the music and sound effects, sprites were so cool and overall just terrific. thank you so much for making this!!! sososo excited to play the full ver !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't express how much it means to me to hear everything that you said. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me! I hope you enjoy the full version when it's released.

"Where cannibalism is a normal facet of every day life and outsiders are on the menu". You mean, it's not? D:

I really like how you've drawn and made the sprites, backgrounds and art yourself! While this may be just personal preference, I think the drawn piano (for example) has infinitely more charm than the clean cut piano asset we see in most games. Apart from that, everything is pretty nice. The characters, the vibe, the story... I found a few typos: one as we examine the curtain in the kitchen but I don't remember what it was, one about the snake ("giant" was misspelled I think), and various occurrences of "recieved". Sometimes, finding what we had to do next was a bit confusing, it took a lot of examining and trial and error. I point that out because I'm one to always examine everything over under and sideways, yet was a bit stumped still. I'm looking forward to the complete game :D

(+1)

Oh no, more typos! Haha, shoot. I thought I got the last of them out.

I've heard that it can be a bit confusing to figure out what to do next. Surprisingly, that's been the hardest part of developing the game- walking the line between making the game not too hard or too easy, especially since I know the game like the back of my hand. I'll be thinking more about how I can help the player along.

Thank you so much for all your input! I'm happy to hear you like my sprites too, I was hoping they'd give my game a real unique feel to it. ^^

Sorry for my late reply! I totally understand what you mean about the difficulty of the game. I suppose, having some kind of diary to keep track of tasks is the obvious solution most devs use. Or our little friend can give hints sometimes if we're stuck I guess? But like you said, maybe it'd make the game too easy. I really don't mind a game being difficult, however if I'm really stuck, hours after having examined everything from every angle, I'd be glad to have a hint option. Even if I have to sacrifice some blood or what :D (can make it so, so we don't abuse it). And your sprites definitely make your game unique, for sure!!

Absolutely love what I've seen so far... The story, foreshadowing, subtlety, and world building  is great and I can't wait to play the complete version. The concept is creepy on its own and you managed to execute it both effectively and creatively.

Thank you, Annie! :D

Intriguing and creepy - I like it! Looking forward to the full game :)

Found a bug - when you use the knife on the picture above the shelf next to the fireplace, the game will crash due to a missing audio file.

(+1)

Thank you so much!

Oh, shoot! Thankfully, that isn't important in moving forward in the game. So I guess you'll have to see what's behind that once I fix it. ;) I appreciate the heads up.

You're welcome :)

I love to dig for secrets in games and I'm delighted that there's at least one small secret that I've found, that so far none of the streamers seem to have caught (since I don't want to spoil it, I'll just say this much: it's a good idea to keep more than one save file ;) ).

(+1)

Gave it a play, 2 part video series for the demo since I am typically thorough and read/examine so much, hah.

Nice, I hope you enjoyed exploring everything. I wanted to create a world people would like to search every nook and cranny of. I'm excited to watch your playthrough soon, when I have the chance. Thank you!

Gotta say like the game I am not sure how long this demo is but I liked the idea of what ya got here. I haven't come across any RPG maker horror games I have not liked. I hope to see more of this game as I may play more of it.

That's awesome! Thank you for taking the time to play my game. Would it be alright if I shared your video on Twitter and tagged you?

(+2)

Of course, thats what it's there for. Feel free to share it as I want to bring more people to see your games my friend.

(+1)

When will the full game be released? I'd love to play this on my stream!

(+2)

That's great to hear! Optimally, I'd love to have it published in a few months. At the latest, the end of March.
